Out side Bali island, Balinese community in Semarang keep their tradition ... and faith alive. They held the Festival of Ogoh Ogoh, prior to the Holy Day of Nyepi, day of the New Year in Caka caledar.

Balinese community in Semarang also celebrate the New Year, with the other cultural groups and communities taking part in the Festival. This describe well the motto of the nation : Bhineka Tunggal Ika ( Unity in diversity ). |
