Lawang Sewu

Lawang Sewu and Tugu Muda Monument.

Lawang Sewu is a former NIS (Nederlandsch-Indische Spoorweg Maatschappij) company head office (Gedung Lawang Sewu), Semarang.

Tugu muda, a monumet dedicated to the Semarangese youth who fight against the Japanese occupation troops in Indonesia during the WW II.

Sor Ringin

Iki aku lagi pesen soto ono ing ngisor wit ringin ( ficus benjamina) njero Pasar Manuk Semarang.

Aku karo koncoku tko Jakarta sing dino iki mau njaluk dikancani hunting foto ning kono. Ning njero pasar ini okeh wit ringin lan ugo cagak cagak nggo nyantelke kurungan manuk. Yen esuk, utamane yen dino prei, pasar iki jare rame banget karo poro manuk mania. Bakul soto iki salah sijine wong sing buka 'restoran mlaku' dekne nglayani rong lokasi mejo lan ketok e laris banget sotone. Sak naliko koncoku moto moto ... lha aku gawe sketch bakul e. Enjoy ... !!!

Those lorries are from Jepara come to supply the wooden furniture to the warehouse belong to a company there.

An other softball cap I saw there.

Some sketches I did in the bus. I did them while commute to the working place which takes around 1 hour 15 mnts. Using A6 book and drawing pen I added the water colour at home.

Parade of Ogoh ogoh

Semarang Sketchers in the front of City Hall

Parade of Ogogh ogoh, a Balinese festival prior to the New Year Eve of Caka Calendar.

Ogoh ogoh is a statue of Butha Kala, a demon.

The Balinese people in Semarang had the parade started from the City Hall and finished at the city square, Simpang Lima.

The member of Semarang Sketch Club attended the festival to draw on location and record the spirit to enter the new year to come in Caka Calendar.
