Some sketches I did in the bus. I did them while commute to the working place which takes around 1 hour 15 mnts. Using A6 book and drawing pen I added the water colour at home.

Hei ... aku lagi seneng nggambar ning jero bus, pas numpak mangkat kerjo sing kiro kiro butuh wektu sak jam telung puluh menit. Opo meneh yen ora poro penumpang sing dadi subject sketch ku ning kono. Yen bis ora patio sesak kuwi wayah sing pas banget ugo ukuran buku gambar sing pas, ojo gede gede, A5 kuwi paling gede rumangsaku nggo nggambar ning bis. Yen bukune gede A4 umpomone kuwi kegeden, ora praktis lan nyolok yen kene lagi nggambar, iso iso sing di gambar kroso ora seneng. Aku sok sok yo nganggo karcis e bis BRT sing tak tumpaki kuwi nggo nggambar. Buku A6 yo praktis banget.

Passengers

BRT (Bus Rapid Transport) is a commuter system in Semarang. As I live in the eastern and work in the western of the city I usually use this bus to get my office. This daytrip takes about 1 hour 20 mnt and I sometime do the sketching while the bus moves.

Here are two small pieces of paper that are a ticket to ride the bus, I use them to capture some passengers.

Using a ballpoint and I have to deal with the bus shake as it moves, accelerate and brake thru an overcrowded traffic.

The commuter system in Semarang . . . using a Hotel Memo Book. I am totally able to appreciate it's size in this situation., however we have to deal with shaking bus.

I did these sketches when I was on the tour coach heading for Purbalingga .

One is the coach driver, please note that we drive on the right side here in Indonesia ... just like in The UK. Well most of the world drive in the left . . . thanks God we are not 'drive in the midle' :-)

The other sketch is Haikal, a son of my friend.
